Tuition and Financial Aid

In 2010-2011, the current financial aid budget of $9.1 million reflects the School’s commitment to supporting students from a broad range of economic situations. Lawrenceville offers financial aid to those students with demonstrated need.

The 2010-2011 tuition charge for boarding students is $46,475, for day students, $38,050. In addition, there is a required medical fee of $660 for boarders and $405 for day students, and a technology fee of $405 for boarders and $270 for day students. Parents are also required to purchase a tuition refund insurance at the cost of 1.0% of the tuition (adjusted for any financial aid award). The actual annual cost to educate a student at Lawrenceville is $70,000 (including financial aid). The difference between the annual cost and tuition is met by income from the endowment and generous gifts from alumni, parents, and friends.
